Night Fever - New Blood

Night Fever - New Blood 2009 Adult Crash Records

Probably the most frantic band in scandinavia right now. These Danish fuckers are from the heart bof K-town and are proud of it (it seems). Night Fever deliver raw, energic hardcore with vocals that gives you a reminder of Vitamin X. The singer combines high pich singing with some tune touching and serious vocal levels. The music in general is fast with a youth crew approach and with some metal influences. If you are in to hardcore late 80's & late 90's you are going to like these fuckers.

A Bit of Braindead

It's fucking impossible to get a hold of this EP on the internet, either we are morons or its only availible through danish meth dealers. Anyway, we discovered A Bit of Braindead recently through Berlin DIY HC Punk (great blog, highly recommended for anyone who wants to know what's currently going on in the Berlin scene). A Bit of Braindead deliver raw energic hc/thrash with vocals reminiscent of Vitamin X and if you get a hold of the EP, please rip it for us because we are too poor to buy it (Yes, we are to poor for ONE EP).

First release available via Yellow Dog, RisingRiotRecords, Thrashbastard or directly from them

Their second EP will be released in April/May and we look forward to hear it, hopefully see them live soon aswell.

Youssouf Today/ Operation Eat Shit

Collective release on Emergence,Weewe and NosexTillDeath

We don't really know much about these two bands except:

* they're both french
* both bands have stopped playing

When I first heard Youssouf Today I thought -wow these guys really have the spirit! This is hardcore with no fuss just fast intense thrashcore.
The second song "Math Rock", which is my favourite one on this split, is pure energy and it's almost impossible to stand still when you hear it, it has some nice melodic parts aswell.
That energy continues throughout the rest of the songs, and if you like bands such as Limp Wrist and Vitamin X you will not be dissappointed.
Apart from this split they have also released a s/t Ep, be sure to check it out.

Operation Eat Shit play 80's sounding hardcore with a thrashy edge and lots of attitude, angry lyrics mostly about ignorant macho dudes.
I think the two bands complement each other which makes this split a definite killer.
The artwork is superb (done by Craoman)
You'll sure be listening to this over and over again.
